Bottega Veneta has opened its first Maison in the world, in the prestigious location of Via Sant’Andrea 15 in Milan. The new store adds to the historic flagship store opened in Via Montenapoleone 5, thus becoming the second Bottega Veneta’s boutique in the heart of the Quadrilatero della Moda district of Milan. The Maison displays the whole range of products of the brand, including men and women’s ready-to-wear items, bags, small leather goods, glasses, footwear, watches, perfumes, fine and fashion jewelry, as well as furniture and home accessories.
The total surface is 1,060 square meters, on two different floors in an Eighteenth century building. Space and intimacy are perfectly balanced, which ensures an exclusive shopping experience in line with the brand positioning, synonym of discreet and sober luxury.
The Maison’s interior has been created and designed by Tomas Maier, Bottega Veneta’s Creative Director and is based on the concept of light. The light in the area is ensured by large windows, balconies and arch windows facing a patio. As a whole, the aim is reflecting Bottega Veneta’s identity in the country where the brand has its roots, in a location honoring and representing beautiful and discreet Milan architecture.
I was there with my long-term friend Lucia Odescalchi, jewelry designer, she looks gorgeous in a perfect “Bottega” style and a pair of earrings from her beautyful collection.
