Do you love Top Shop? You will be pleased to know that the street-style brand launched by Arcadia’s patron Sir Peter Green and co-designed by Kate Moss, during the last London Fashion Week, has been the unique sponsor of the NEWGEN event dedicated to the new generation of Made-in-Britain fashion designers. The sparkling creativity of young talents tooks a whole section of Somerset House and strongly attracts international buyers who are always looking for enticing novelties.
The roster of the nine designers selected by the unquestioned giant of British Retail includes Simone Rocha and Marques’Almeida for ready to wear and Sophia Webster for footwear. Their creations are indeed sold in the most state-of-the-art stores of the world and they start being photographed on the most famous red carpets.
During my visits as a Retail Coach, I have taken pictures of Top Shop’s window displaying a fantastic overview of new designers and a limited edition of customized notebooks, a gift for purchases over 70£.
London therefore confirms its leadership as incubator of new talents and it seems that it will go on surprising us with exclusive and enticing initiatives, besides the Fashion Week.
We will see. In the meantime, my dear friends, I have already got my NEWGEN notebook collection!
